I Need Help With An Eletrical Project I'm Working On?

Ard. I'm going to school to become an Eletrical engineer. Yesterday I put together a microchip. it had seven 330 ohm resistors (1/4 W), one 27 ohm Res. (1W), one 1N4733 (5.1 V Zener), 1 �f capacitor and lot more thing it can with. I put everything in there the right way excecpt to of the IC Sockets with 14-pins. Now the item doesn't work because it put in in the wrong way. Now i want to see if I can unsolder it, but i don't know how. Can anyone tell me how to unsolder it. thanks
