What is up with this guy? Is he gay or not?

Okay, so at college, this one really hot masculine guy that sat next to me in cl kind of played footsie with my feet. Well, not really footsie, but his foot kept on touching my foot. But since then, he hasn't even given me the time of the day. I am a good-looking guy, or at least that's what many women tell me, but yet, not masculine men ever hit on me, ever! It's usually only the feminine and weak type of guys that hit on me. So what? Do you think he could be gay or did I misread his signals? He does still like to sit next to me, though, but he doesn't play footsie with me.
