Seriously Micheal Hussey looks past it?
Except for Ricky Ponting,Simon Katich and Shane Watson, the Aussie batting has just looked a bit shaky .Mike Hussey and Michael Clarke ,both seem to have lost the stability they showed in their initial careers, especially Clarke who got his maiden test century against India.Marcus North, preffered for his all round skills also lacks consistency in the middle.Tim Paine, the guy who has replaced Brad Haddin because of the latter's injury looks a promising batsman at no7.Brad Haddin's batting has also improved over the past .So i would prefer to include Tim Paine, even if Haddin returns, because Paine can bat at any position, thus making things better for the Aussies. But i guess,Hussey has a lot of cricket left in him still although he is already 35.The team could give him a few more opportunities because he has played quite a many crucial innings for the side. But if he lacks performance, then i would say that they could groom any youngster like Callum Ferguson, because when Ponting,Hussey,Katich who are all 35 retire, you can play with youngsters without giving them good chances. When the youngsters, get to play along with them, they gain the experience to play long innings, thus setting platform to their careers in the long run.
