Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

To some actual lemon juice is too zesty or strong but with dish washing liquid real lemons effectively clean dishes where as artificial flavour would only make it smell and perhaps (if you're stupid enough) taste nicer.
