Will astigmatism get worse even with gles?

i have been diagnosed with mild astigmatism. my opthamologist prescribed me gles so that i dont strain my eyes as much even though she claims that i have nearly perfect vision. with an O.D SPH of +.50 O.D CYL -.50, O.S SPH +.50, and O.S -.50. with some polycarbonate, anti-reflective coating, and UV coating. if somebody can explain to me more in depth in matter of augmentation and the prescription add-ons i'm receiving, and also my other question is will this make my eyes dependent on the gles after ive been wearing them for a while (since she says i have near perfect vision makes me wonder if my eyes will get lazy and depend on the gles) and make me have to potentially increase the augmentation in the future because i am wearing them and my eyes will get used to them? thanks.
