Long hair issues, need styling advice!!!?

K. I have hair that is arrow straight, medium/dark brown, and is hip length and all one length. I won't cut the length but am willing to layer for more body etc. I have an angular Jenn Aniston type face, grey eyes, how can I alter my hair for a better look. I want more body and my hair wont hold curl. Any advice? Pics would be awesome! Thanks!
