Is it normal to have a fascination with war?

I love war, I love everything about it that I know so far. And yes I haven't been in actual combat unfortunately. I'm waiting to finish my college degree before I go for a commisioned officer spot. I love that war is so black and white regardless of reasons for war, you know who you're enemy is and who your allies are. I love the strength it brings out in people. I don't know, I've read articles in magazines like Time and Newsweek about soldiers who love Iraq or Afghanistan but not sure if others have this kind of fascination. Your thoughts?
