What is there to do in New York City? Specifically Manhattan?

Yes yes, I know I'll get the obligatory 15 comments saying "zomg its nEw York der is URTHANG 2 do!!1!" but that response doesn't answer the question by any stretch of any definition of an answer. I know there is "everything" to do in NYC, but what specifically are some cool things to do? Thanks in advance!
